Dear Friend,

I have a serious problem when asked to describe a movie’s effect on me, in fact, anything’s effect on me, or to deeply analyze it. I am unable to put into words the underlying beauty in works such as The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. I easily able to produce a description of any books, movies or stories, just not do the same as to why I felt and what exactly I felt throughout the experience. It may have something to do with how completely out of my life I feel, as if I am merely the innatimate moon watching over the earth without having its own life and stories which to relate what it is watch. This  may possibly be ultimately for what directors and storytellers strive, however, I want to be able to take something away from the three-hour, which did not feel as long as it was, experience to my own life; and how am I able to do so, if I am unable to identify it properly.

I shall work on that.

Dear Friend,

Do you ever get that feeling in which you have a true desire to create something. A something that is tangible and has some self-worth. See the problem is I have this desire at this very moment, yet I have no use for it as I am not an artist, a programmer or even a musician; in fact, I am not specifically talented in any given area. Rather, I have a general, yet bare, grasp of abilities. I feel as though my interests are too vague and often only periodic. It is as if I experience a long-term ADHD in which I cannot focus on an interest for longer than a week or two, causing me to never learn enough to produce something that contributes to the world. Have I not found a suitable and enjoyable personal pursuit or am I to forever hop from activity to activity without ever leaving something behind.
